Last time, I talked about different marketing strategies and sold some items using rhyming, creativity, and humor. If you aren’t familiar with it, let me market it for you. :)

As the subtitle says, “Let’s level it up”, I leveled it up with an exciting idea. I asked people to sell me something and that something was just a steel glass. I got a couple of good responses and I’d like to share them here with you. And then, we’ll come back to sell some more items, including the steel glass.

Responses

  • The best way to sell anything is to create demand for that particular product. Case — Law1 — Try to drink water from your palm. Hard right? Now purchase this steel glass at a 40% discount (apply our coupon code).
  • I’ll sell you this at a discount and call it a steel deal.
  • My steel glass is better than your Tupperware!!! Ok? How? Cause every time it’s empty, I get up from my chair to fill it up. (Exercise + hydration)) Buy one for yourself and have “One arrow two targets”.

*Disclaimer* — The following examples use products and lines that illustrate modern marketing’s workings, and none of them are intended to harm anyone.

Let’s Stop Dwelling, and Start Selling

* A Steel Glass

(The company name is Thirstyl)

We all know Valentine’s Day is coming, and brands will take advantage of this opportunity to advertise, especially to the singles out there.

Your crush may be a heart stealer, but I am your thirst steeler. [Stealer]. Seal your steal, today!!

* A Mask (N95)

*Excluding the supply-demand concept at this point*

  • N variants? N95 solution!!
  • The real deal for the Covid seal!
  • Not just protecting you from the pandemic. ;)

* A Wrist Watch

(The company name is Precious)

  • Your time is precious and so we are. 20% off for the people who like to manage time. ;)

Brand endorsements work like a charm for numerous companies. I’ll show you an example.

  • John Cena’s time is NOW!! When’s your Precious time coming?

Cracking the Code

I’ve always believed that the best way to sell is when you’re not just selling the product. A product should evoke emotions, humor, and creativity. I always emphasize creativity because it goes beyond marketing and selling. You have to be creative and confident to stand out in a job interview. A PowerPoint Presentation should look creative and informative and for that, creativity is the code to crack!

Rhyming and sense make the perfect pair. It’s a variant of creativity and this pair is always an eye-catcher. A showstopper advertisement appeals to the people on a healthy and a personal level.

  1. To sell the simplest of things, you need to figure out small problems people deal with every day and connect them with your brand in a humorous way that in no way hurts anyone. Healthy and humorous is the way to go.
  2. In the Marketing business, First Mover Advantage is like a jackpot for companies. Do it before anybody else does it! People remember the firsts for a very long time. If you take the advantage of being the first mover with your apt strategies, you will have a long-lasting impression in the market.
  3. Create suspense, inform about your product, and then narrow it down to just one line. Make it so creatively that people get confused, happy, and eager to buy your product in just one line. Too much content is boring and down scroller.

That’s it for today, folks! I hope to take this “Sell Anything” series to great heights in the future! Part 3 will come and with creativity, we will learn.

Creativity + Humor + Product Quality = Modern Marketing Code
